Holy shit!  I finally got what I’ve always wanted!  After two freaking years of waiting, I finally got me a brand-new digital camera!

I started blogging two years ago, and since I liked to include a lot of images into my posts, I started developing a taste for photography, too.  Unfortunately, all I had at that time was a measly Nokia 6070 camera phone.  I could take pictures, but I also had to forget about high-resolution and sharp images.

Later on I managed to upgrade to a Nokia 7610, which sported a 1.2 megapixel camera.  The quality of the images were better, but far from perfect.  You had to take pictures in broad daylight to be able to enjoy good quality images with sharp details.  Anything else taken in lower light conditions meant a noticeable decline in quality.

My new digicam is a Samsung S760.  It’s not a dSLR by any means, but it’s a great point-and-click camera with lots of features that you won’t expect to get at this price range.

This is my last post for the year 2008.

It’s 10:30 in the evening on New Year’s Eve.  As you can see, I’m already preparing my arsenal for the showdown later this midnight.

I’ve got more explosives in the back, but this is all I could carry at the moment.

Now let’s hope I don’t blow my fingers off or something.
